E309LT1-1 flux-cored welding wire is an ultra-low carbon stainless steel flux-cored welding wire with the following main features and application scenarios:
Composition and performance: The main components of E309LT1-1 flux-cored welding wire include ultra-low carbon (C≤0.030%), 22%Cr and 12%Ni. Its weld metal has good mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and crack resistance. Due to the low carbon content, it has excellent corrosion resistance; at the same time, the alloy content is high and the high temperature resistance is good.
Welding process: E309LT1-1 flux-cored welding wire has good welding process performance, stable arc, small spatter, excellent forming, and is suitable for all-position welding. It is recommended to use pure CO2 as the shielding gas during welding, with the flow rate controlled at 20-25L/min and the dry extension length between 15-25mm.
Application scenarios: This welding wire is widely used in industries such as petrochemicals and pressure vessels, such as surfacing transition metals on the inner wall of reaction vessels, or for welding martensitic and ferritic stainless steels with poor toughness. In addition, it is also suitable for welding carbon steel and stainless steel dissimilar materials.
Other information: The deposited metal of E309LT1-1 flux-cored welding wire contains an appropriate amount of ferrite and has good crack resistance. Before welding, the oil, rust, moisture and other impurities in the weld must be thoroughly removed to prevent problems such as pores and cracks during welding.
